negative gearing vs positive gearing
You can legally claim expenses relating to your rental property for the period your property was rented or available for rent. Examples include advertising, repairs, fees, borrowing expenses, council and water charges to name just a few. If all your deductions are greater than income, you are “Negative Gearing”. If however all your deductions are lesser than income, we are “Positive Gearing”. We genuinely take you through the Australian Taxation Office’s own publications. We help you consider your choice & seek professional advice, whether the benefits negative gearing is really safe for your circumstances, or the safety of positive gearing is what you need at the stage of your life.

3. Finance We arrange home or investment loan finance for your intended property purchase through our finance broking partner. This may include helping you save a deposit through a savings plan, refinancing your existing property / properties, and arranging the best possible lender and facility for your needs. Often there are challenges to overcome, requiring some reconsiderations of your goal and strategy. You are then ready for your purchase.
4. AcquisitionWhen its time for your property purchase, we are licensed real estate agents who offer you a diverse range of listings across multiple capital cities and towns, or guide you on a number of alternative opportunities in the market that strongly suit your goal & strategy.
5. ManagementOnce you have successfully completed your property purchase, it is time to choose how to manage your valuable investment. We can guide you to resources for self-managing your property / properties, or refer you to considering our partner agencies in the relevant location.
